COVID-19 Update
Posted on 25th March 2020 by Goodwins Family Law SolicitorsIn light of the rapidly changing situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we’d like to reassure our clients that the courts remain open and we are continuing to work on our cases.
As a firm, our priority is the health and wellbeing of our staff and of everybody we work with, including our clients, contacts and suppliers. After monitoring the situation closely, we have introduced new measures to meet with government advice.
- Some of our staff will be working remotely.
- All face-to-face meetings have been cancelled and have been replaced by either Skype meetings or telephone calls.
- All our staff have been given the appropriate guidance to protect their own health and that of their families. We are making sure that everyone is able to follow the necessary steps, particularly in terms of self-isolation, if there is any risk that they or family members may have been exposed to COVID-19.
These changes enable us to continue providing high-quality service to our clients, while also mitigating the risk of exposure to our staff and everybody we work with. From home, our team can access your file electronically, respond to emails, and discuss matters via voice or video call.
It is Goodwins’ aim to ensure that it will be business as usual. In the event of any other significant changes or directions issued by the government, please check back here for further updates.
