FAQ: What is a Non-Molestation order?

A non-molestation order is an injunction designed to prevent a partner or ex-partner using threatening behaviour or violence towards you or your children. This includes harassing, pestering or intimidation, and can last for an indefinite amount of time, in exceptional cases.

In order to apply you must meet a certain criteria which your solicitor will explain to you. If you are under 16 years old you will require permission from the High Court to apply.
